ya i was pleasantly surprised by the outcome of the frame, plus i got rid of a bunch of black in the process

aside from a complete rebuild it received the following

full wiseco clutch as the stock one was smoked and the basket was notched badly
port polish cylinder, head was cleaned up and shaved. nothing too drastic just a basic job for a stronger pull
carb had oval bore done
all meant to run pump gas
and i have a fmf fatty and shorty to finish it up :)

Just a few little things about your KTM.
make sure your coil to the frame has a good ground(after PC.)
The gastap facing to the inside is trick from pros,so you can not exidently knock the taplever into CLOSED position.
From your carb, take the two UPPER breezerhoses, cut them, insert a T connect only ONE hose of the T to a fuelhose and lead that hose into the airbox.(which is the dryest place on the bike) so you have always at least ONE hose to bring AIR to the carb avoiding a vacuum in the floatbowl. If you dont like the ( bloody) TORXE screws, you can replace them ALL with the great M 6ers with the M 8 mm head. Many customers of mine ask me to do that to there NEW KTMs,
Ahhh there are so many more tricks....lol
Oh,your cable under the tank to change the timing ???KTM is offering a switch attachment to be installed to the handlebar. So at any situation you can mod from torque to reving at a click with you thumb. ;D ;D ;D Happy Holidays, and let us know how your Baby is doing....

thanks for all those tips helmut! i appreciate it  8)

a little update, i decided to say "F&%k it" and i ordered a complete moto hose kit, from radiator hoses to carb hoses, the works. All in blue. Decided against orange because i think it would be a little overboard with orange frame orange hoses orange plastic etc

Unnecessary wants:
orange zeta steering stem nuts
orange clutch, brake covers
carbon fiber frame guards ( i cant find anything anywhere!!! and i dont know why, seems like they would've made cf parts for this thing)
i really want a scalvini carbon silencer, but my fmf is basically brand new, and if not the scalvini i want the ti shorty for it, but again my regular shorty is perfectly fine
i dont mind the push button and turn gas cap, but a threaded one would be nice too
it would be nice to get some bigger sharper pegs, but the stock ones are huge compared to the ones on the cr125 i had

so far everything has gone perfectly, none of the holes in the frame need to be made to fit the bolts. ie. sand down the pc coating, and all im doing now is the waiting game. i ordered the the majority of the parts today, and hopefully will have this thing up and running by the end of this coming week!

let me know what you think!!

Pro Carbon Racing (UK-based company) makes carbon fiber frame guards for your KTM...  http://www.pro-carbonracing.co.uk/ktmw.htm

They seem to make really nice stuff, but I can't speak from personal experience.  Hope that helps!

I've had their frame guards on a few of my bikes and they've worked really well and always looked smart (not worn out after ten minutes like some).
