My 97 YZ 125 Complete Rebuild
« on: August 01, 2010, 08:15:02 PM »
Thought I would throw this out if anyone is interested, the rest of my parts should be here this week. :)

This is the bike when I picked it up several weeks ago. It was in ok shape, needed some TLC.

For a 97, it sure did look clean before you started.  You will have a nice bike when finished.

It looked clean from the pics, it had a lot of home touch ups, and overspray from the previous owner.
Worn bearings, Sprockets/Chain, oil drain plug was stripped and JB'ed. I just got a completely different bottom end to rebuild. Start fresh.
I got in a few parts today, nothing that can really progress the rebuild. Except I guess I can repack my shorty now.

LOL mine knows me by name. We talk all the time and it used to be she would say "Archery or motorcycle Mike?" but now she knows it's pretty all bike parts, haha.

Looking forward to seeing some updates on this. It's already looking great!
