Rotary Valve EFI 360.
« on: May 26, 2017, 03:01:06 AM »
This is a project I started way back when the original TSM was up and running. I have far too many projects and the 360 got sort of left behind, sleeve engine took up some time then the 700 twin Autogyro engine and many different cylinder casting projects and then the HCCI test engine.

Wow, two totally new concepts in this engine (chamber pressure-wave driven metering and variable rotary valve throttle). Looking forward to your updates!
Yamaha CT3, RT3, MX125, SC500, Toy Prius, Diesel F250 (it all balances out)

I'll get some pictures up, but have I had a battle with this forum regarding posting pictures. I'll get someone that knows what they are doing to help. (a young person)

I am stoked to see this and will be watching closely!

I'll send you a message with how to add pictures.

Thanks for including us in this next adventure in the design of the two stroke!

You can use the "Add Attachment" function of the forum. Back in the day storage on your hosting account was limited and expensive. That is no longer the case so I removed the limits for attachments. Just keep hitting (more attachments) as needed.

Here we are casting some cylinders in the back yard
https://youtu.be/UdSw3QbZtKE

These were some cylinders we cast a few years ago, this engine is for use in Autogyros (aviation), 700cc twin with internal gear reduction. Electric start and counter balance shaft.

This is the actual 360 crank case being cast and machined, CC601 heat treated to T6.

Life gets in the way, sorry the video upside down, but here running at last. Only on the water brake dyno at the moment. You can see the sliding Gibs throttle at work. They overlay the rotary disc valve, Its just running two of the four TPI injectors at the moment, i.e. standard TPI. At some point when I learn more about this ecu Ill start blending in the A port injectors. They will come on as the pipe starts working. Autolube is connected to the power valve so only opens as the power valve does, on load. Oil is feed direct through to the bigend. I am running 80 to one pre mix as well in the E85 fuel.
