EBC clutches?
« on: May 20, 2011, 04:35:03 PM »
Anyone use this clutch kit?  I just ordered one for the kdx after the tusk clutch took a shit after the first ride, so any reviews on EBC clutches would be great.

Whatever one you use make sure you soak it in oil overnight before you fit it and use it.

I have not used an EBC, but I do have a Tusk kit sitting in the garage.. yet to be installed.

I hear Tusk is rebranded EBC.  I haven't seen any solid proof of that though.  Internet rumor..

Not to derail the topic, but do you have any more details about the Tusk failure?

Good replacement kit, but it's not a Barnett.
If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

I have heard that aswell, and it slipped right out of the box. I did talk to RMATV about it, but it got me no where.

I think it should be okay for the kdx, and if not !@#$, I will go that route :'( Note to the wise! Do not buy cheap clutches!
