Even though this is obviously a joke, and a really funny one at that, (I especially like the short shift and lug it comments  :D) it shows people how fun two strokes really are. If a retired factory pro who can clearly afford any bike he wants is riding a 2004 KX 125, they must be pretty sweet. I'll take one!

Yep, certainly a nice bike. Too bad it was used to make fun of everything we're doing (well, almost everything sort of).

Hey guys... as they say in advertising even bad publicity is helpful to changing peoples minds.

If it was done to make fun of the two-stroke brigade, it will backfire on them. It's just common sense, a cheaper, easier to maintain machine with the fun factor off the scale... there's no comparison.

It's only a matter of time....

Besides take a look at this video from 2008... a bit better rider just having some fun!

Actually, I recognized the interviewer as the guy who interviewed Super Hunky for over an hour a while back.  It was a real good interview, and they got into the two-stroke four-stroke thing and both of them seemed to be on our side.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

I saw that video of everts a while back, he doesnt seem to ride it like a 125 should be ridden, he isnt moving his weight around as much as id expect, but then he was a 4 stroke guy for however long in the gp's

Everts pro career started in 1989....I would imagine he knows how to ride a 2 stroke  :)  The majority of his 101 GP victorys were probably won on a 2 stroke. He used to be "Mr. 875cc" with his 125/250/500 world titles.

I know he started on 2 strokes way back, but he is either not trying to go fast or has forgotten how to ride a 125 in the video, thinking about it he is probably not trying..

Nah, he wasn't trying, he was just rolling around and letting the 450 take the outside line.
