alright ive got some questions, my phone wouldnt let me watch the whole thing, is there any information on when hes gonna return or why he chose a 125 over a 250?
-
Good one ;D
-
Nice try......... :P
-
That is a killer video. But this is a re post :P
-
I lol'd at JT$ telling him to do all the jumps :P
-
interestingly weird :-\

Don't be suckers...
This is just some pro-Fooper propaganda fielded by fartbike supporters from way back.
They think they are funny and they're poking fun at supporters of 2 strokes with lots of the angles in this little skit.
The only part of it I found funny is that they did manage to almost make a 4 stroke look like a potent race weapon... until you remember they're pitting a Fart Fifty against a 125! Then it comes off as pretty pathetic.
-
obviously a joke. AMA will only allow a 2009 and newer bike to race in the pros
-
LOL! That was funny. Thanks for posting it.
-
It would be cool if it was true. He might could win against amatuers on it.
-
This is just to put 2 strokes on a laugh.
Comparing a 125 to a 450... ???
-
It may sound funny, but you put him on a 150SX and he would have a chance, expecially in SX.
-
It's surprising indeed, to see the speed of a retired rider on a 125 against the 450.
I admit, he keeps up pretty well.
I expected a bigger difference...
-
It's just Coombs & his clowns making fun of us wanting to keep 2 smokes alive. I mean, look at the guy doing the interview. Looks like a REAL rider eh? Another one of Davey's flunkies. I'm disappointed in Red Dog though. And JT$, just another road block. Watch him in any main he gets in to. He won't move over for the leaders when the AMA throws the blue flag out in front of him. It was good to here a good ol' 125 though. Soon wqe will be hearing the scream of a not so long forgotten RM125 in the hills of Pennsyltucky. Off in Coop's direction.
-
:P BUHAHAHAHAHA, I LUV IT!!
-
OUt sid eof the BS or non purpose BS of the skit it was still cool to see Ferry ripping around around on that screamer. Kinda reminded me of well me. On big boy mini of course. :P
-
Even though this is obviously a joke, and a really funny one at that, (I especially like the short shift and lug it comments :D) it shows people how fun two strokes really are. If a retired factory pro who can clearly afford any bike he wants is riding a 2004 KX 125, they must be pretty sweet. I'll take one!
-
Yep, certainly a nice bike. Too bad it was used to make fun of everything we're doing (well, almost everything sort of).
-
Hey guys... as they say in advertising even bad publicity is helpful to changing peoples minds.
If it was done to make fun of the two-stroke brigade, it will backfire on them. It's just common sense, a cheaper, easier to maintain machine with the fun factor off the scale... there's no comparison.
It's only a matter of time....
Besides take a look at this video from 2008... a bit better rider just having some fun!
Stefan Everts on YZ 125 1990 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auH7NU8ab0w#)

Actually, I recognized the interviewer as the guy who interviewed Super Hunky for over an hour a while back. It was a real good interview, and they got into the two-stroke four-stroke thing and both of them seemed to be on our side.
-
I saw that video of everts a while back, he doesnt seem to ride it like a 125 should be ridden, he isnt moving his weight around as much as id expect, but then he was a 4 stroke guy for however long in the gp's
-
Good point, John.

Everts pro career started in 1989....I would imagine he knows how to ride a 2 stroke :) The majority of his 101 GP victorys were probably won on a 2 stroke. He used to be "Mr. 875cc" with his 125/250/500 world titles.
-
I know he started on 2 strokes way back, but he is either not trying to go fast or has forgotten how to ride a 125 in the video, thinking about it he is probably not trying..
-
Nah, he wasn't trying, he was just rolling around and letting the 450 take the outside line.
-
I agree...he was probably just cruising around. Everts can haul the mail when he wants to ;)
