WOW! Unfortunately his biggest problem is he will never get that much money for that bike.

Have you guys noticed that the used prices of two-strokes has climbed higher than four-strokes? Another thing is when you do call on a used two-stroke they are already sold. At least in the Northeast!

Yes I was recently in the market for a 125 for my nephew. I could only afford to buy him a 1997. Anything 2000 and newer was priced way out of my budget.

Pittsburgh is 8 or 9 hours driving time from where I live in New York. I live near Poughkeepsie.

Yes those are great prices, but my buddy would have to buy 7 or 8 bikes to make it worth driving that far!

We are close to NYC and there are lots of racers living in the suburbs that want to race. Not everyone wants to spend big bucks just to have some weekend fun, so the used two-strokes have climbed in price over the past year.
Life is short.

Yeah I think you are right. We'll have try something in the east here like those in the PNW are doing.

I always thought this was a sign of the times...

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?
