I slammed some clowns on another site for slamming on your series. These FOOLS are what makes your job 1000 times more difficult. And they have no idea what is happening behind the scenes. Like the strong arm tactics used by "certain" groups and individuals, the financial threats imposed on those who will break away and other things I don't want to print in public.

I feel for you my friend. I have put the word out. Hopefully I can send something your way soon.

Note to those who are thinking of buying a new bike: rather than put your money into the ones who are killing our sport, why not keep your current ride and send the money to help this series. This MAN is in for the fight of his life. We should all commit to help in some way >:( 8)

People were really slamming the new series already?? When they don't know anything about it?

That's what I'm talking about... people are slamming something just because it's not being written about in the major Motocross media. They think they are doing the right thing, but they are just regurgitating the bull that's been fed to them. In a way it's a shame, in another way it's a crime.

The part that's discouraging is that Meidosracing is putting up and getting so little support. What's worse is he's getting so little support from two-stroke fans. Even an e-mail of support would be nice! :D Just let the guy know that you truly want him to succeed.

My gut feeling is that the people that spend time on the internet are not really interested or involved in racing. Just some keyboard commandos looking to show themselves as bigger than they actually are. Hopefully some of the folks that visit this board are more interested in actually doing something. Am I right?

Life is short.

We are working on this new series.  But although there are a lot of outcries on internet boards. We have not received anyone's donations or any other help so far, besides what we have gone out and gotten ourselves.  I posted on another board after a 27 page rant, that I will put up or shut up.  We are doing just that. Today we have a meeting with a national track owner and a potential sponsor. If you are serious, start contacting sponsors and forwarding them our website.  We need help to further this cause.  Help us to help the cause.  :-)
if you set up a pay pal account then we can contribute from the uk and all over the globe.

Yes, they were slamming the series. AND the guy who posted the link to the site. I'm still checking in over at this "certain" site to keep track of the situation. I am prepared to be banned for life from that joke of a web site.

Your other point is why I am borderline writing a scathing commentary on 2T owners. They can't defend what they do or something. I have yet to understand it. These guys feel like they need to say something (ANYTHING) good about 4T's. I'm not going to do it. I never have. I never will. I have spent my entire life screwing with IC engines. I will NOT apologize for telling the truth AS I SEE IT. My question is this: Why do 2T guys feel the need to defend junk dirtbikes? Bikes that have done nothing for the sport. The problem lies right at the feet of our own people. Just in case some one is not quite sure...this is a very sore subject with Mad Scientist.

If I could offer a small suggestion to you Mr. Mad Scientist...

....don't get too involved with those guys, it's too easy to say something that would be construed as wrong and reflect badly on this project. Believe me anything and everything you say can and will be used against you!

We've got to build up some very positive energy for this project.

Starting right here on this site.

Yes, but what I am saying, is that people are going to extremes, of not even going to motocross, or riding at all because four strokes are more popular and the rules are favored towards the 4$troke. I think this is ridiculous, whether a dirt bike is a 2 stroke or a 4, IT IS STILL A DIRTBIKE! IT IS STILL A FRICKING AWESOME INVENTION! Sorry for yelling, but, we are complaining so much of the 4t's, but why? I think we should still stick to the sport like glue, just do so in a different kind of way, meaning, ride our "dated" two stroke machines at the track, and in general just support 2 strokes, but I don't think we should leave Motocross/Supercross just because things are unfair, that is what I meant by some of us being spoiled 2 year olds.

Extreme times require extreme measures. I am one of those who will not participate in anything AMA that requires me to pay for it. I do not support companies that come out publically in support of 4T's in any way.
If you think the $t dirt bike is a "freakin' awesome invention", than you and I will agree to disagree. There is ZERO that is good with 4T's. Don't tell me they make more HP. They don't. Don't tell me they make more torque. They don't. Don't tell me they pollute less, have a smaller "carbon footprint", get better traction or are so easy to ride they make you a better rider because you can cut faster lap times with a 450 than a 250. That's all 100%, grade AA bull crap. There is proof on this very site where a 20 something rider was 2-3 seconds a lap FASTER on a KX 500 than a KX 450! I can assure you, that if a real pro, like Danny Chandler or Jeff Ward or Brad Lackey (to name just a few) spent a few hours of coaching this kid to correct all his bad $T habits, he would be faster yet. Just from his absolute lack of understanding ansd experience. How can you dispute these facts. Naturally, the kid wants to eat so he picked the slow revving, overweight, technologically ignorant $T. It kept his job for him.
You guys can continue to kowtow to these fools. Try to get along with them. Keep going to their races and supporting their sponsors. Play the patsy. See where you are in 5 years. When this all started, it was  TWO STROKE MILITIA. For a reason. That is the mind set WE need. We will never slurp our way back into mainstream. The japanes factories don't want it. And KTM talks the talk, but their walk don't match. I have said it before: I REFUSE to ride with $T guys, unless I know them very VERY well. If that means I ride less, so be it. I'm tired of no starting (pull started many of those turds), stalling, flaming out, loud PIGS. I guess I see it different than the younger folks. If you haven't figured it out yet, here is how it goes: You CAN'T go along to get along. That is what has been done. How's that working for you so far?

Well, I guess we do disagree, because, I have friends that ride four strokes, I still stand my ground about the two stroke, but, i still ride with them, they are still riding that goes in the dirt, and has two wheels, and, plus, when you ride with four stroke riders, it brings back memories for them, good memories...
I'd rather be riding...

I say ride with them and "if" you have a finely tuned 2 stroke, let them ride it, show them what it can do.  I know that when I finish this build on my 02 that I will let some of my faster friends ride it, just to show them what it can do.  I also buy parts from Mitch Payme Payton, I buy 2-stroke parts, to show them that they can still make money off of selling two-stroke parts.  If we boycott every company that suports 4t's then we are killing 2t's because these compnies see that their is no money in 2t's so they will stop producing parts.  .02
