What some of you are missing is the fact that the "herd" mentality rules. Most of these guys are following the "herd". So no matter what you do, they will follow like lemmings to the sea.

As far as supporting PC...that's a laugher. In it's hey day of 2T racing, PC never made this kind of money. Payton himself said 4T's did nothing but triple the cost of racing. His words. Not mine. That meand he's making triple the money. I was going to say its liked being hooked on drugs (only in a different manner) but some internet freak will cut and paste and take my words out of context. There are not enough parts on a 2T to ever make up the difference.

That's why I said I only ride with "select" 4T riders. And very VERY few of them. I don't think like they do, don't talk the way they do. They are lost sheep and the media is their master. Every hear "opposites attract"? That is a lie. If you are attracted to someone/something you are far more similar to them than not. I have already stated my views on the "modern" "technologically advanced" pigs called 4T's.

What is stunning is the fact that someone will go out and post a picture of a 4T on a 2T site and then try to get everyone to think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. If you like 4T's so well thimper talk would love to have you.

I come HERE to get AWAY from 4T people.

No hugs need here. I'll watch it. But I'll puke every time they show DeCoster. And every time I hear how great the 4T is.

Yes, it will be a puke-a-rama for sure.

Well, I guess we do disagree, because, I have friends that ride four strokes, I still stand my ground about the two stroke, but, i still ride with them, they are still riding that goes in the dirt, and has two wheels, and, plus, when you ride with four stroke riders, it brings back memories for them, good memories...

I agree with you... riding a dirt bike is about the fun!! Plus by having your two-stroke in front of them and when they see you smiling, they just might ask you what the deal is and consider a two-stroke.

Not that I dis-agree with everything that the Mad Scientist has written, I agree about not attending the races, I know it's not the best way of dealing with the problem, but by paying my money, I'm telling those in charge that I like the way things are now, and I don't.

For instance, I went to the Southwick National two years ago, because there was a rumor that John Dowd was going to race a two-stroke (he didn't) I tried to watch the races but it was kind of dull and way too loud. I left with a splitting headache and vowed not to attend another National unless there were two-strokes for me to cheer on. That happened at Unadilla in 2009 with the FMF 2 Stroke thingy....

Oh yeah, you know what really sucked about the Southwick event?? Seeing the poor privateers who stalled their bikes be unable to start them. They kicked while the rest of the field passed them two or three times. One guy got so frustrated he just left the bike and started walking back to the pits. A few minutes later his mechanic showed up, gave it two or three kicks and it finally started. The guy got a dnf because he stalled his bike. That sucks!!

Guess I didn't make myself clear. I DO ride with 4T's. What I will not do is ride with guys I don't know, guys I've ridden with before who are 4T Nazis, or ride with guys who have no idea what they are talking about, and want to stand around and tell me how good the "modern" 4T is.

I've stated my position very bluntly. Who agrees and who disagrees with me is of no concern. I HATE 4T dirt bikes, that being single cylinder applications. Correct, I HATE them, for many reasons, on many levels. I have spent more time screwing with 4T's than I care to think about. So I get to speak from experience. Then, someone has the balls to post on this site, a picture of the latest PC 250F Kawasaki, and has the title "Better look at the new 4 stroke technology". I don't need to "LOOK" at anything. I've seen things so far advanced beyond that antiquated pig it's not funny. That bike is NOT cool, is NOT fast and IS overpriced. If you took 1/3 of the money (if that) and put it into a 250 2T, the 250 4T would not even come CLOSE in performance. What is really stupid is this: THIS IS A 2 STROKE WEB SITE.  To the best of my knowledge, this site was established to PROMOTE the 2 stroke in MX and SX. And yet and still, I spend so much time refuting stupid 4T lies that it's becoming redundant. If you think 4T's are that "cool", that far "advanced", go buy one and join a site so you can share the love with your 4T buddies. Do I sound a little pissed? I AM. I came here to get AWAY from 4T morons, freaks, posers and motorcycle wannabe's. As moderator, I CAN wipe these threads out. And I probably SHOULD. But before I did that, I would sign off, sign out and go do something else.

As for not attending the races...that is the BEST option we have. In reality it's ONLY option we have. There is nothing wrong with it. To sit around and APOLOGIZE for doing it is asinine. Why would you spend your money on something that is substandard? If you think 4T racing is not substandard, there is nothing that can be done for you, except go get a 4T, and ride off into oblivion.

2T guys....STOP APOLOGIZING FOR THE 2T AND STAND UP AND BE COUNTED. Why do you feel it necessary to say something good about 4T's when there is PROOF there is nothing good about them? STOP DOING IT. YOU PERSONALLY MAKE THE JOB 100 TIMES MORE DIFFICULT FOR THE REST OF US.

Do you know what really pisses me off, is I cant find a KX250 on Google or Yahoo. Every time I type it, it comes up with the KX250F POS. Same with the YZR500, I get the YZR-M1 4 poke. Here's an even better one, when the hell did Yamaha start calling a YZF1000 R1 a TZFR1RC-F in 2003 on bikebandit.http://www.bikebandit.com/2003-yamaha-motorcycle-parts/oem-parts

So let every POS 4 poke wannabe diesel eat valves, spin bearings, and turn pistons into a big molten pile of crap. I'll see you in hell 4 pokes!!!! >:D

Man those are one fugly boot :o
As for the 2t/4t thing.4t's are far superior in every way.I only came on this site to show M.S. the light of day.The reasons they are superior MS are as follows......well,I'll get to that later ;).Right now I have to run down to the bike shop to get some plastics and stuff for the YZ.

Hondacrrider,Don't be a sell out!As far as I'm concerned the only place in society that 4-stroke motorcyles belong is on streetbikes & NOT on any offroad dirtbikes especially in Supercross or Motocross racing! The only thing 4-stroke dirtbikes have done in any form of offroad racing is drastically raise the prices for the privateer race teams and also for the average weekend riders who don't realize sometimes until it's too late and after their new 4-stroke dirtbike has warped its piston and/or just plain wore out as so many of them do after sometimes as little as 8 months or 1 year later! That's quite a large price to pay for a new $7500.00 to $8000.00 dirtbike! And quite frankly that's when the owners of these suposedley new,so called state of the art 4-strokes get put up for sale for anybody who does'nt know any better to buy so the original owner can go back and buy a new 2-stroke.I don't know about you but I have seen countless 4-stroke owners do this after they realize what a bad decision they made by purchasing a 4-choke & they usually buy the 4-choke just because these are the dirtbikes that the pro SX/MX racers are riding & most of the time the pros don't have any choice anyway because they are influenced as well as paid by the manufacturers who are making tons of money due to inexperienced and/or uneducated dummys like all of the non-racers who think they can be like their Motocross heros. What us hardcore 2-stroke fans really need to do is NOT give in to the JUNK that the big money manufacturers are trying to sell us & refuse to buy anything but 2-strokes & also stop watching & going to the 4-choke races! If you must know who wins each week just check it out on the net. >:(
