That was a great article.  Know only if the japanese manufacturers would use this technology to build two strokes again.

Yes, The frickin' Economist!  It's about time at least someone in the economics community recognizes this situation.  If you look at what has happened in the motocross community, it's exactly the kind of bullshit that you read about from the Mises Institute.  Sadly, they haven't done an article on two-strokes yet... maybe I should eMail them about it.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

Actually, I guess I almost spoke too soon.  I just found an article on Mises.org about the story of Montesa and Bultaco.  Be forewarned, this article is written to be a case-in-point about economics, rather than strictly a bike article.  And, it doesn't really mention the whole two-stroke mess, but it's something!

Good articles. Man, I wish I knew more about direct injection and the other one they mentioned OCOP I think.

Nice to see that some folks have their thinking caps and that there is some fat wallets helping them out. How can you go wrong with Bill Gates writing the checks. :D
