Freaking sweet man, hope your injuries hold up well enough for you to give it a good effort.

I gotta tell ya Watson777,those YZ throwback graphics look great !!!
When Yamaha first brought the red/white graphics out in 1985 I owned a Suzuki RM-125
and I wanted to sell the RM sooo bad or trade it in on a 1985 YZ-125 but I could'nt seem to get any decent money out of the Suzuki @ that time.... :(

I'm curious, do you remember how much a brand new 1985 yz 125 was?

That's going 25yrs. back for me ktm150rippa but from what I can vaguely remember a 1985 Yamaha YZ-125 sold brand new for around $1600.00 to $1700.00 U.S. Dollars.

Super sharp, Lookin  real  sharp, Bradshaw  but  better  is  how I  see  it.  Watson  your  hard core  racing  with  your  tore up knee.  I  hope your knee  holds up, sharpen  the  pegs  good  and  get  some  grip tape  on  the  air box, to  help  your knee.  Just  take it 1  lap at  a  time, your  hardest laps  in  qualifing, get in  then  13  plus  2  smooth  laps, there  now  you have  only  1  race-moto left. Best of Luck

Does this mean you're well enough to race?

Thanks everyone!! I am gonna give it my best shot up there. John, to answer your question I don't think I have been well enough to race in about 5 years but I'm gonna do it anyway. I only need one fast lap! My leg hurts but I have been doing light training every day. If washougal doesn't go well hopefully I will have enough money to get to pala in sept.

Too new for me. ;)

When I think Yamaha Retro, I think of something like this.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

Well, what I mean is it would be retro if you had graphics on your YZ that had that style.  I would've posted a picture of such a YZ except I don't think anyone's really done it.
