Hey Everybody,

We may as well try to meet up to support Project250, and Brian Shuckhart if he's there.

Do any of you guys who'll be at the High Point race want to meet up?

I think it would be symbolic for us to arrange a time and meet up near the finish line jump!

Then again, it's probably more befitting my lifestyle to meet near that truck that sells the great steak fries in a cup!

Can any 2 stroke fans who will be in attendance at High Point reply to this post? We'll arrange to meet somewhere at the start of the first 450 Moto.

Thanks,

Jim

Uh Oh... That's a bummer...

Oh well, we can buck up because there's a chance we might still get to see a little non-lawntractor action at this round. This isn't daisy picker California so maybe some rugged dude will show up and qualify for the show on a motocross bike this year. Not one of the landfill-fillers Honda's giving away, but something less like a steroid packed XR and more like a real actual motocross bike ;D!

I think there will be 3 Tunnel Jumps this year. Why don't we meet at the 2nd tunnel jump at the start of the first large class moto?

The 2nd tunnel jump is pretty much centrally located on the track, at the bottom or the "Stairway" jumps that lead downhill from the 1st tunnel jump on the track. I think it's the second one the riders go over after leaving the start. Unless I'm wrong there are only 3 and the 3rd one is all the way up on the last straight at the finish line jump.

I'm sorry we won't get to see you John. We'll catch you at the next one! Best of luck with the ongoing preparations!

Thanks,

Jim

I looked, but couldn't be sure I saw anyone from "2 Stroke Motocross" near that tunnel jump at the start of the first 450 moto.

Much later in the day, I DID see a guy near that jump with a "Bultaco" shirt on... Was that anyone from here?

I guess what I need to do is buy a couple of John's 2 Stroke Motocross logo T shirts.

If there's no one riding a 2 stroke on one of the races, we're just to hard to identify. When someone's out there on a 2 stroke it'll be much easier even without visual aid, because we'll be the only nuts screaming our heads off for the guy!

Thanks,

Jim

Some how I missed this thread completely, sorry guys! I was near the first tunnel jump RC used to double after the start, right along the fence by the turn with the kicker. If you watch the videos on Allisports you can see me standing by the fence when they pan out a bit. And the lady behind me in the light blue shirt is my wife taking pictures, LOL:

Modest beginings start with a single blow of a horn, man.
