Revenge of the Bomber - Jerry Robin's prep for Loretta's
« on: July 22, 2013, 03:58:12 PM »
Jerry is having his 1985 bike freshened by Chad Watts. There are some pix posted on Vital:

I hope they get it back together with enough time to really verify its good to go before the "2013 250F comparison testing" starts!

Going to be fun to watch.

Why is the guy using an 85 CR? The 86 thru. 88's were soooo much nicer.

I hope the tools at LL do something really stupid and DQ him...for having too much fun at their expense. Hell, I am having so much fun watching this story that they should DQ me!

(Note: I love Loretta Lynn and their contribution to our sport, but I also know that the "powers that be" have only a self serving intrest in it.)

I think he is 16 or 17.

He is so good...  probabably the standard reasons. Reasonable innate talent in this area and a strong work ethic.

How old is this dude? And why is he so good?  :- :- :- :-

it was rhetorical... Talent he most definitely has. If TSM started supporting riders in the amateur nationals, I know where my letter of invitation would be going.

This dude is a legend! That 85 model looks so nice, I bet a lot of spoilt kids were rather annoyed being beaten by an old smoker.

I am watching the live timing of two stroke class, moto 3. Jerry went from 3rd place 4 seconds behind on lap 4 to 1st place, 4 seconds ahead on lap 5!
