Clearly no one can hold a candle to JS7s unnatural speed on a motorcycle.

Actually,he has said that himself many times-just not recently.Every dog has it's day,his is done for the most part but I'd still give my left nut to have just a bit of his riding ability. :)

I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

Agreed. I would love to see him back on a two stroke though. He was fantastic to watch on those KX250s. he didn't care where the back wheel was, so long as he was moving forward. One of the rare persons that could ride a 250 like it was a 125.

I am a 2 stroke fan and what I will say has nothing to to with supporting the cause. 90% of the amazing things I have seen him do were on a 2 stroke. He grew up racing them and I believe the 4 stroke is a handicap for his riding style. He is past his prime but if he were to lose his factory ride and wanted to ride for fun on a 2 stroke he will be a "Dowd like" spoiler. Who here does not go faster when your having fun? Also he took time at a race to sign all the goodies the my kids and their friends presented to him at a race and even signed my arm (story there). So I say good guy (or at least decent) as a sports figure who belongs on the right bike for his riding style.

Stewart sponsers a ride day in Texas every year, cant remember the dates, but when he was riding Yamaha he showed up on a YZ250 that year. I think he perfers the 2S. Did you catch his comment about what he would change in Motocross " bring back 2 strokes".  Seems to be a stand up guy again, think he lost his **** for a few years with his TV shows and that idiot french guy he seems to be saddled with.

James is one of the exceedingly rare people that does and says alot of things that make me want to swing a crow bar into his face, but also does and says alot of things that make me want to hug him. Example of first: Trying to pin his shameful performance on the YZ450F (Indirectly), then crashing out just as much if not more on the best turning bike in the biz. wtf  :-. Example of second: Bring back the two strokes.

Ha, he caused a hell of a lot of damage to the yz450f outlook from a popularity stand point.

Ha, he caused a hell of a lot of damage to the yz450f outlook from a popularity stand point.

It DID have issues, but name a bike that doesnt have issues off the production line. A modern bike anyway. Some issues are easier to fix though. Besides, with a factory race teams budget I don't see why they couldn't fix said issues. Crash out in both motos at Budds Creek? Come on mate. I don't think hes gonna be on many factory teams MUST HAVE lists next contract time.
