Robby Marshal's Lap Times
« on: May 31, 2013, 02:45:58 PM »
in the first round of qualifying Robby's shortest lap was 2:27. The fastest guys out there seem to be in the 2:07 to 2:10 range. Hope that's enough for the show!

Yamaha CT3, RT3, MX125, SC500, Toy Prius, Diesel F250 (it all balances out)

Pulled it up in the 2nd round!   16th!, Robby's best was 2:09
Best qualifying time overall was 2:04. Looks great!

Their other guy Mike Sottile wasn't on pace, he will have to race his way in.

Top 4.  Timed qualifying fills 36 gates, the LCQ fills the final 4.  So he will need a good start, he'll be up against 30+ guys.

What a bummer.  He was running near the top 20 on lap 1 and landed on Canard's downed bike.  Early report is a separated shoulder, so his day and season could be done if he needs surgery to repair it.

No shortage of bad luck on these two stroke national projects. But I think qualifying today was better than anything from the first effort a couple of years ago.

I hope it not eitheir the guy did great and when I see that he qualified ahead of Chad reed and Jake weimer it's pretty cool. Well if he is out for the remainder there are a lot of good riders available, Seeing that the economy sucks.Well the TSM guys have put in great effort and I'm sure that they'll be able to pickup some very good riders especially after showing the the Bikes are the real deal.

Watching the race right now, before the start they gave a "shout out" to Robbie and mentioned him qualifying on a 2 stroke and about 2/3 the way through the race they mentioned him qualifying 16th on a 2 stroke ahead of Stewart, Reed and Weimer   :)  :D  ;D

... Emig should slap himself! Hope you guys can get a solid rider to jump in for him.

Did you mean to type, "get a solid announcer to jump in for him"?

WAIT.  You meant Marshall.  Nevermind.  Sorry.

That's a real bummer. How long does an injury like that take to heal?

Depends on the degree of the separation.  Often the pain will go away in a few weeks but it can cause long term problems.  Usually without an operation to close the joint back up it will pop back out of place when stressed.
