Well isn't it? Why do shop owners hate the internet? Why do doctors hate google? Most of Doctors trying to diagnose something will actually google symptoms! Showing Dyno graphs on the internet vs. me going out to build my own set up. Why should I build something that someone else has already done let alone posted the information about their build? Is that not what you're doing by saying the bike is good? Why should we or I follow your advice? Its on a forum full of people that have never touched a bike, what makes you any different?

"APRILIA RS125 - $3200   2009. Euro wiring harness. All stock. 550miles."

So is it worth it, it's on Craigslist
Yes, right now any street legal 2t modern sport bike is worth that price.

Im not sure what is 'lemony' about the rs125 motor.

its a 15 year old design, goes 10,000km between top end rebuilds and 20,000km between bottom end rebuilds.

With simple porting, pipe and carb you can bring the bike up to and beyond what a modern 125MX engine can do.

But yes I agree, the optimum thing to do is swap out the rotax 123/124 and then insert a rotax 128 disc valve motor (no frame mods) or 257 motor (minor frame mods).

I wish I could get one here for that.

We can get them new, but they're a little more than double that price. Too rich for me.

Lawl.  That H1 drag bike project would be cool but I would end up throwing it into a modern chassis.

Hey now, I know 3 kids that ride 150Rs and are perfectly cool! Of course they're also not even close to the speeds of kids on 85s and they wear clogs with socks :D No kidding either, clogs with socks and riding pants, jersey aswell.
