Contact Rick Lago at Motocentre (509-453-2121). I believe he sold quite a few in the Pacific NW.. I've got a 500 Enduro in my shop and a friend has a 500MX - both from Motocentre. I'd also consider the 440, gorgeous bike.

I talked to him a year or so ago.  He has a 1989 Maico 500, the exact one in the posters, serial #1.  However, it's pretty much in parts and the cases are busted and would need replaced.

If you go on SearchTempest there is a blue 320 for sale in New England somewhere.

I should also add that with the Lorenz Merkle Maicos you need to reinforce the foot peg mounts. I'm pretty sure Rick reinforced every blue Maico that he sold.
