Where's this at? Can't find it.

all i could find is when he said his 250 just 'doesn't have it, you know?' in 2010 after a few local pro's almost passed him on a 450.

I remember having a similar discussion with my friends a few years ago. They ridiculed me because I said the 2 stroke would make a comeback in a few years. They told me it was dead, and they knew for sure because Stewart said the 2 stroke is dead and will never come back.  ;D

I wish some pro rider like bubba would ride a 2s in the displacement rule's and show just where the bike's stand and then pick a displacement that's fair. If the a.m.a. stick's their nose in.Pull out of all their race's and start a grass roots effort. I know if some great rider's started racing 2s people would come to watch them ride. I know i would before i would watch a a.m.a. race. Did'nt the few 2s race's last year have great turn out's in both rider's as well as spectator's.

Me personally i would love to be bubba back on a 125 and seeing just how many rider's would want to race me on the bike i ride best and see how many spectator's want to see me rip on the 125...Now if bubba's got the stone's to step up is another question???

Start a thread in every section. A factory rider finally said point blank "BRING BACK THE 2 STROKES"!!! No beating around the bush. No saying 2 strokes are "fun" to ride. He said BRING THEM BACK. And he's paid to say 4 strokes are the best. Maybe he realized he has enough money and his name is big enough to just go ahead and say it. KTM 250SX next year?

He even sounded sincere about it.

The best response was Nic Weys.

I think it's the riders who ahve ridden 2 strokes are getting older and wiser that realize the 2 strokes are just plain FUN to ride.

Now as far as Kim's post about the 125 (nothing personal). I really can't see any of them riding a 125 because there just isn't enough power to really give them a rush. They would literally twist the grip off or break the cable trying to go faster. But a 250 would be enough for them to have fun and a well built 250 would provide more than enough for them to compete with a 4T.

Besides, it's more fun to be wide open, ripping than lugging up through the powerband.

IMHO, screw thumpers. They make you lazy.

I don't think Stewart wants one for fun. I think he believes he would be faster on one. His style is to make the bike do whatever he wants.
