New Hampshire Mountain Race
« on: February 15, 2013, 01:37:02 AM »
A few months ago I was talking with another rider about a possible off road event in the mountains of New Hampshire. I really wanted to do it, it was at a ski mountain in the summer time but the only thing I could dig up on the internet was a paved street race that only allowed thumpers. Anyone know anything about this or have raced it?

I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

We stayed in a couple different places as we went back and forth, across the mtn and back again-but eventually found this place by accident.Close to everything but in the trees, sort of like a bed and breakfast but with nice.big, clean hotel like rooms-and it's as cheap or cheaper than a hotel. When I get back that way,I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I like those attractions much more than parking lots, car horns, and wailing babies. :)
It was cool to sit on the front lawn relaxing slobbing a beer or 3 watching the birdies after a hard day of carrying the girls shopping bags around. 8)

The wildlife I can see back in CT, its the view from the top of a 5k foot tall mountain that I like to see. Skiing is usually my way of seeing that view, so seeing it on a hare scramble will be different  ;D

Just saw this for some reason  ??? But I am dying to ski Tuckerman's Ravine down Mt. Washington. I've been to just about every major mountain on the map in NH, that's the only one (I think) I haven't gotten to yet. Soon  ;D
