I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

We used to have problems with roos, pigs and rabbits so we sent them all to Australia along with all our cane toads.
How does "Australian Geese" sound to you. :D

Of course... Who else :D

That's nothing. Check this

I'm in my 50's. I remember tons of snow when I was a kid, but I also remember not being able to play hockey on the outdoor rinks because it was too warm a good part of the winter.

Here in western Canada we need periods of sustained sub - 30 C. weather to kill various parasites that attack coniferous trees and we just aren't getting these temperatures anymore. I vividly recall on a summer ride in 05 standing on a big stump to check out the area and realizing that EVERY pine tree as far as I could see was dead.

That's a big problem with warming cycles ins't it?Invasive species with no natural predators being able breed here.Which bug is it out there that's destroyed so much of the softwood stands that they are worrying about crossing the Rockies-or maybe it has now.I can't remember it's name.........

I dunno, either nationality is crazy enough by itself. Just look at TMKIWI and myself... :D. Almost all my bike stuff comes from NZ actually. I'm glad my credit card has heaps of sevens in it when I ring up to pay for orders.

Humans are the biggest predator to heaps of species. And I correct my previous post by inserting there where their was. My bad.

Mountain pine beetle and spruce bud worm. Between the two of them there won't be any softwood trees left. :-X     www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/story/2013/01/09/bc-pine-beetle-new-threat.html

Are they native? Or introduced?

Native.Pine beetles are nasty things, their blood contains a natural form of anti freeze and that is why it takes long periods of very cold temperatures to get rid of them.

Liquid nitrogen guns freeze ray things, that should take care of your anti-freeze beetles  ;D

Hahahaha, that's the same reason so many easterners end up out west-their women demand it. ;D

We've had spruce budworm issues here as well. The pine beetle was what I was thinking about out west-and this....
