What wld happen if

What wld happen if some decent pro rider showed up at supercross on a yz or ktm 2 stroke @ made it in the main or finished in the top 10

wld they be supported or blackballed

Renner was a fool. As for a rider making it in the top ten, they would be offered a ride, on a 4 stroke. The bike to be feared if it shows up is the is the 250sx, its insane.

I was thinking more of an ex factory rider like robbie reynard or john dowd someone who wld never ride the series anymore but still has the speed

i don't know if a vet rider is someone you want getting back into supercross. both these guys could not be top 10 with the current field. let alone on a twostroke. it would take youth and daring i'm afraid, mxracer.

if someone did get in top ten...i dont think much would happen. there would be a bunch of TALK about it but ultimately would be quietly moved to the back of the news. it wouldnt make headlines it would be a sidebar story

^Exactly, they would be quickly silenced. We wouldn't see the bike the next race, maybe the rider, but not the two stroke....

The ama does'nt deserve our loyality' our money or our eye's watching their 4 crap racing. I don't support them in any way. I hope someone or some group step's up and start's a 2s series, sanctioning body and whatever else it take's to stick it to the ama. I use to subscribe to mx magazine's and if someone start's a 2s only magazine i'll buy it. If someone sell's dvd's of 2s race's i'll buy it , Someone start's a 2s sanctioning body i'll join, but nothing for the 4$ and i mean nothing.  All the rider's that would rather ride 2s over 4$ but ride 4$ are worthless and weak especially pro rider's.

Me personally i'd rather work at mcdonald's and pay to ride my 2s than be paid millions to ride 4 crap. How many of you feel the same way? I hope all of you. In my opinion if you really love 2s how can you not.    KIM

racerx How far apart are we. I've down hilled ski'd, snowboarded and done all kind's of sport's but nothing and i mean nothing make's me want to go hard like a 125 2s. Everything else is a compromise and i hate to compromise unless i'm wrong and then you should be man enough to compromise. If you'r not wrong don't ever give in. I've had friend's all my life try and get me to ride something other than a 125 2s.I've tried their bike's and are only to glad to hand it back to them and ride my 125.  I'm a diehard125 pilot. I know some guy's even some of you 2s that like 4$ and could be happy riding them if they had to. I can't do that it's 2s or nothing. The good new's about that is if 2s mx was in my hand's it would be still being raced as fairly as it can be.  KIM

pretty far kim,if someones going to pay me millions to race mx. lets be realalistic about this, i mean if i had that type of oportunity and passed it up to be a construction worker with mortgage, a son starting college next year and facing potential layoff in the near future so i could continue to pour money into my racing effort, i would be a fool. lets face it, the smokers would still be there when i was done and i could retire. racing is racing, i just would rather do it on my twostroke when its on my dime.
