From his accent the guy is probably from Ford's neck of the woods, in fact he kind of looks like Ford, brother maybe?
(Would explain everything).
It's amazing this guy is still alive, his guardian angel somehow subverted natural selection.
I can't believe he would tackle a tree like that with a little roast carver (can you say dangerous?).
I have one of these at home.
And one of these.
A guy might give me two of these (125cc !).

Tim the tool man would be happy with those last saw's.
Still begs the question of why tho.

Why?Because you're from Canada and you can.
Obviously Sachs,he's one of yours. The map at the beginning proves it
The accent sounds brit though. Now that I think about it,I haven't seen a pic of you yet-maybe that's because that vid IS you.Hmmmmm...interesting.
If your buddy wants to give away saws-tell him to give them to me
Latest acquisition as of last night:
I'm thinking it's one of these but with a 2 piece cover.I'm still looking in to it.

Btw,given the 3-4 camera angles of the tree crushing the truck,I'd say that vid was a setup
Funny though.

My father helped design the fore runner of the Pioneer but I think that was IEL. When you are knocking down BIG trees you need power and that means big saws.
It's a funny story behind the 166's. Last summer I was camping with my family on a beautiful lake in the middle of no where B.C. and there was but one other camper at the site. As it grew dark ATVs and UTVs started rumbling in from every direction piloted by heavily inebriated individuals. A party ensued and I was talking to this one guy (he was already down one bottle of wine) when the subject moved to chainsaws and my Dolmars. Well this guy jumps up and says "Do you want a couple of 166's?". A 166 is a highly sought after collector saw and are worth about a $1000 a piece. We'll see if he was serious.

I've seen so many guys maimed or killed in the bush that I just don't see anything humorous about the video. Recently a local rider (who just recently won an offroad series in the U.S. and placed as high as fifth at Erzberg) lost a relative to a falling accident. He was knocking down hardwood trees (very dangerous).

Jeez, in Maine we don't even need chainsaws for that. I had the exact same thing happen to my truck (much smaller tree though) in the big ice storm of 2008. A maple tree broke and came down right on the hood and windshield.
