Lets hope so hey. It would be funny if this series became as big as the AMA mowercross in a few years and everyone started watching this instead of the AMA. That would speak volumes about foopers...

Thumpernats were big in Australia before 4 strokes became the norm. Seems more of these series are kicking off

I was too young to see that. Who knows maybe in another 10 or twenty years it will be back to four strokes and we will all be back on this forum raging about whatever bs is going down.

im hoping itll turn into what the Western 4stroke nats were years ago. a series dedicated to just 4ts because they used to be mostly obscure bikes like husabergs and such. then yamaha came along and i remember a race from 98. almost all 40 riders were on the yzf400

That,s awesome news. Is there any TSM members in the Glen Helen area ? That could  help TSM members on stuf like where to get race fuel, a practice track, borrow tools at the track, etc.  What do ya think would be the easiest way to make it work for out of state folks. Purchase a bike in Cali.,  have mods done, then after the race ship the the bike home ?  Shipping a bike has to be 500 bucks now, one way would be nice to keep that cost down.

Maybe they could roll this into a National series in coming years, especially since WMX only is doing THREE rounds now! The "Triple Crown".

I live near Glen hellen, but I don't race motocross. I would be willing to loan a bike to a competitve rider. I have an 02 service honda 500af, this bike got the hole shot at the  LA sleeve/glen helen race a couple of years ago.
I also have a 2002 YZ250 that runs well. I am building a 04 crf250 with a 2001 cr250 engine, but doubt it will be done in time.
If you want to borrow a bike, send me a resume. If we work something out I will prep a bike for you, spring it for your weight and pick you up at the airport.
