I just got in from hooking up the generator, its getting nasty outside. I guess its going to get waaaaaay worse around 2 (for CT). I was kind of thinking of going for a ride in it... Its one condition I have never been out riding in yet. The only thing stopping me is the massive pine trees that have been falling all day.

I was watching some of that tonight. The storms typically come up the Atlantic coast and go across us before heading out to sea.
You don't hear much about it in the news but where this one is turning inland,it's all over the news. Not to make light of it,but not unusual this time of year-for some of us anyway.

I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

I went to walmart.

I bought a weather station.

Lighting is overrated.

A few years ago we had what was called "the ice storm"where it rained but froze on such that many power lines and trees were down. Our power was out for three days.Places in Quebec,it was down for 2-3 weeks.
I heard a piece on the news the following year that the birthrate in Quebec was up 46% that year compared to the average.
What to do with no TV or computer I suppose. :D

Yeah if the interwebs go down I'll be getting the DTs.

I fueled up the jeep, bought a sammidge at subway and have a steak in the freezer.

She'll be right.
