Perusing the entry list...Kyle Regal (JGR/Toyota/Yamaha) is entered in the 450 class on a YZ125. Broc Peterson (399) is entered on a Honda CR250R. 81 entries.

Only 1 KTM 350. Guess America isn't buying it without Dungey's support.

In the 250 class is Johnny Moore on a CR250R but I'm pretty sure that is a mis-print. 66 entries.

20 Women, no 2T's. You'd think the girlies would like the lighter 125...

It's the same story as with the guys... The girls are in search of sponsorship and support, and the industry will not support you in any way if you ride a 2 stroke in their weekly Mowercross or Foopercross TV commercial, sponsored in part by Monster Phleghm Energy Swill.

Ride a fooper and do good enough, and there'll be a paycheck in it for you....

Ride a 2 stroke and do good, or even WIN, and there'll be nothing for you other than fan support... Unless you want to accept one of Fonda's "Damage Control" fartbike rides like Cedric Soubeyras, in which they are basically paying you to ride a Fooper instead of giving their bikes a black eye on a two stroke 1/2 the size....

That's the ONLY reason why we have to watch this racing series which is a pale shadow of what it should be.

I think 4 stroke dirtbikes are a phase, kind of like "Glam Rock" in a way. You see the whole world subscribing to it, and you wonder how everyone could be choking down so much Kool Aid and Spam... Then 10 Years later, nothing's left but the timeless stuff from before and after..

Though I agree with you, with only 20 girls lined up, I would guess that many of them are tagging along with husbands/fathers who are there racing/supporting anyhow. I know that I would be lining up even if I wasn't good enough to win if I had my way there taken care of!

I didn't watch the girls so I don't know if that  20 is quality, but in the GP's, only about the top 10 were very good and the rest wouldn't show well in the US "C" class.

I personally think that all them girls were lying to me when they said "It's OK, size doesn't really matterr..."

No one is left to stop Dungey now.Mr Consistency for sure but most of his main competition is gone-just like when he won the 450's the first time. Not that he isn't every bit as fast, but there's something to be said for not riding over your head all the time.

I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.
