Has anyone been to KTM world in Georgia?
« on: April 10, 2012, 03:25:49 PM »
Me and a few friends are planning on going in a few months or so , the place is supposed to be sweet for trails and tracks . Just wondering if anyone's been there already . From my understanding you can rent any KTM in the line up fairly cheap to try out . If thats true I'm gonna rent the biggest 2 stroke I can get  >:-D >:-D

I've been to Highland Park many times.  They have some nice steep hills.  I think you'll like the trails.

The "hills" at DP aren't anything close to what is at HP.

They have one track, but I've only been on it a couple of times.

I cant wait , My rookie to riding girlfriend followed my buddy up one of the steapest hills at DP on her cr125 and made it up 2nd gear pinned the whole way while I was freaking out at the bottom waiting to see her tumble backwards down the hill and end our vacation early . :o

The best way to have fun on the DP hills is to go down them FAST. With the curves, ruts, leaves (wet days in the Fall can get interesting), roots, and sticks it makes the easy hillclimbs fun for those needing a little challange. Sounds like we need to plan a trip to Highland Park now that the kids are bigger.
