Sweet video- Russell Lineman on 2010 KTM SX250

Russell Lineman in North Carolina
Hey everyone, I'm new on this site and haven't got around it too much yet but I figured this would be a good place to be on because this season I will be competing in AMA and CMRC pro nationals on a SX250.  A little 2-stroke backround I'm 16, and I switched back to a CR250 after a very severe concussion that threatened my career and life last June at a CMRC Pro National.  I had way more fun on it than a 450 and when I started thinking about my goals for this year I switched over to KTM since they are the only company still developing them.  This video is my 2nd weekend on the KTM (2nd month riding since my crash) but it is an awesome video.  Another note, there is a YZ125 video of me on YouTube on my favorites when I was just getting on big bikes back in '07 that has some good sounds too.

If you like it, I'll put up one with no music so you can hear the 250 tearing up the sand.

Hey Russell,

Welcome to the forum!!

Great video!!

One request though... it's cool music, but the folks on this site prefer the sweet sounds of the two-stroke!!

I could not find the video of you on the YZ125, could you please post it here?

Thanks and Good Luck this year!

This is the one from '07, it has no music so it's all the sounds of a YZ125 on the pipe.

Here is one from the sand pit with no music.  It seems kinda blurry to me, I'm not sure why but the sounds is great!  It is currently processing...

Why does it seem like everyone has a track in their back yard except me?

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

Don't you have thousands of acres and hundreds of miles of trails real close??

It might not be a track, but that is pretty cool to me! :D

Thanks guys!  I'm kind of looking forward to canada the most because I need to redeem myself up there and I know I got a top 10 in me.

If "close" means a three hour drive, then yeah.  I guess the Brown's camp area is only an hour or so away, but I don't think I've been there even one time that I haven't come inches from death in the hands of some other goon doing half a trillion miles per hour.  Besides, a huge preponderance of "unused" land in Oregon is "public" land.  Now, that sounds like it'd mean that the general public can use it, but it really means that Uncle Sam gets to decide who can use it.  So in reality, it just sits there and gets prowled around by Sasquatches until some logging company is given a lease to do some "chop it like it like it's a rental" business.

I will say this, though.  If there's someone on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation that's reading this, make yourself a toll booth out there in the desert and open up some of them abandoned dirt roads I've seen on Google Earth.  Looks like riding heaven, and the 'res could bring in some decent money if they actually allowed people in.
