How to straighten up a slight bend on the subframe?
« on: February 22, 2012, 11:57:49 AM »
Howzit everyone, I've got a slight bend on the subframe of my KTM 250sx, on the bars that extend out on top of the silencer, the previous owner flipped the bike whilst trying to wheelie, I was just wondering what can I use to knock it out?? I was thinking of a 4 pound hammer, not sure??

Take the sub frame off and straighten it in a hydraulic press.Be careful to check for cracks. As for the hammer approach, check with Ford. ;)
