2011 Vets MXDN - The Movie

Check out the action from the 2011 Vets Motocross Des Nations event held at Farleigh Castle in the UK on 24th & 25th Sept. With a paddock crammed with beautiful bikes & MX legends from around the world such as Jeff Stanton ,Chuck Sun, O Mara, Thorpe,Hudson,Dobb and many more mixed in with some of todays UK's top talents like Brad Anderson ,Whatley and Alfie Smith all giving it their all on one of the best old school natural tracks on the planet....mix it in with the beautiful sound of 40 two strokes screaming off the line every race and you get something special ... :D

what an awesome track. i would love to ride a natural track for once. i reminds me of the unadilla from way back when two strokes lived and a massive jump wasnt the deciding factor in who wins. out here in Norcal theres really only one track that would come close to natural and its a sand track with a few BIG jumps. dont get me wrong jumps are fun but being able to run wide open around a circuit without having to worry about seat bouncing or scrubbing has no comparision.

on another note i love hope when the older bikes are out there they seem to float over that washboarded hill but when the 450s hit it they wouldnt stop bouncing. it really shows how 'soft' bikes in 80s were and due to SX how 'stiff' theyve become. and its awesome to finally see how fast an older bike can go Stanton is a beast!

Great video, and awesome track!

I decided last year to run only natural terrain tracks. Luckily we still have a bunch of them here.
