Quakes and Canes - Eastern US
« on: August 25, 2011, 08:19:01 AM »
We are located in VA, about 34 miles from the epicenter. Scary and very unexpected ride(s). :)

Earthquakes, randon storm with a flood watch tonight. Irene coming this weekend.

For all the guys on the east, don't overlook this storm. The possible tracks are looking pretty bad.

Yeah, kinda crazy. The dogs give a 5 second or so warning though. :)

You want to try living here.
There is a reason they call us "The Shaky Islands".
We have had over a dozen good ones that made you sit up lately.
As long as there is no damage , all is good.

Good luck with the storm.
If you don't fall off you are not going hard enough

I'm looking at going out to southwick and riding the KX on the ride day sunday and forecast is not looking good - the ride day may end up cancelled. Gonna have to pack the rainproof stuff, and kinda glad I opted for teh motel over the camping.
