'01 KX250, it's been a good bike, right now I've got about 87 hours on the motor, runs strong and starts within 2 kicks every time! 8)

Sorry guys I'm unemployed right now, so I currently don't have a bike. My latest bike was a 1996 KX125, and I loved it!!  ;D

I was so glad to have found this site. I currently am riding a 1992 KX-500(one of my favorite years). My daughter rides an 03 CR-125. There is nothing like the sound of a 2 stroke open bike.

Especially when you have the bawls to remove the silencer.  Never done it yet, but I heard (so to speak) that the effect was Biblical.  I am, however, running a straight stinger on The 120, and it's got the best noise of any engine I've ever heard.  I love me a good top-fuel Hemi, and an open-class Maico is excellent, and I've always been a big fan of jet noise, but they all pale in comparison to the 120.  The crackles, the pops, the underlying growl; it all adds up to a sweet yet menacing excellence.  The fact that it's loud enough to echo off the trees and create a ghostly wail at higher revs also adds when you hear it in the distance.

Torque Master 120

Not the best recording, but it's what I have on hand at the moment.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

After four expensive and not much fun years competing on four strokes,
I just sold my last CRF and decided to return to my roots.  It will be
nothing but two strokes from now on.

Here are a couple of my bikes:

1973 Honda CR250M

!979 Honda CR250R

I am currently scratch building a 1993 Honda CR250 and will post some pictures
on another post

Some more pictures.

Here is one of my 2002 CR250

Here is a picture of the engine and frame for my 1993 CR250.  I built the engine from
the cases up using all new parts.

Once I finish the '93 this Spring, I am getting a SH CR500AF
