Do you only like 2 strokes, or do you like both 2 and 4 strokes? No reasoning please, just answer. Thanks

You cant expect no reasoning... Someone has to say it. I'm not the only one who thinks this:

I like motocross. I like both bikes, but I prefer the two stroke, it is simply a better race machine. But a four stroke is still a good machine in its own.

My beef is with the rules and not the machines and having said that I can say that I like both 2 and 4 strokes. What I'd also like to say is that, having worked on modern 4T$, they are ticking time bombs.I know guys will say the modern 450Fs are reliable but when you have a piston skirt so short there is only room for one compression ring - I don't buy it.

I'd also like to say that I like the feel and power of a 2T - lighter and more responsive. ;D

Only two strokes for me.  Got 5 of them.  Never bought a 4, but have ridden a few and raced against many.  My 02 YZ250 out accelerates a 2006 KTM 450 xc head to head on a gravel road. Until we hit about 60 mph that is.  I just don't like the power delivery of a 4 stroke and the engine breaking. or is it braking?  Will only have a 4 stroke in my car, lawnmower, and pressure washer...

Four strokes are to expensive and are boring to ride so i prefer my 250 two stroke over any 250f or 450.

As far as dirt bikes go, I've only owned and will only own a smoker...  My son has a quad (yes he's a quad turd), it's a Honda 400ex with the tried and true XR400 4 stroke engine.  If I could find a Honda 250R (2 stroke) quad to trade, we'd be all over it... He's still a fan of 2 strokes, but the 400ex is hard to beat, (Especially since we rebuilt it this past winter).

Dirt two wheelers - Two Strokes.  Nothing but.

Street two and four wheelers - four strokes (unless I can find a nice RZ350)

As much as I love two strokes and never plan on buying a thumper, I have to say "it depends" and "each have their place"... so BOTH for me.

2 stroke is the way to go. 4 strokes should have stayed at the pit bike races. :P
