We need a boycott

I think a boycott of Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki would be a good test to see if they value sales, even though they say pride runs their company. I can imagine a lot of cars, lawnmower, motorcycle, apparel, and related items would make a dent in their sales and company image. Look at what happened to Disney with the Christian boycott. The same thing happened to Proctor & Gamble. When that image is tarnished, then there is a real impact that follows.

Just a thought.

I think 4 stroke dirtbikes are a phase, kind of like "Glam Rock" in a way. You see the whole world subscribing to it, and you wonder how everyone could be choking down so much Kool Aid and Spam... Then 10 Years later, nothing's left but the timeless stuff from before and after..

No, they were just the first factory to show up at a supercross. Husqvarna, CCM, and others had racing thumpers. Don't forget Scott Summers dominated the GNCC's on an XR!

Yes they do! First, for twisting the AMA's arm to allow their "works bike" yz400f (the AMA deserves a kick in the nuts for that!) and Second for not developing the YZ in tandem with the 4$.


I won't be getting rid of my Hondas, but I won't buy from them again. Ever. Not a car, lawnmower, or bike. I don't care if they come out as the first major to only delvelop 2T's - or if they are the last. Honda is the Evil Empire of the East and like the Evil Rat Empire, they won't get my money.

Maybe just a Honda boycott. Those RMs are just too sweet to not be ridden.

You know, realistically (sp?), I think there is a good possibility of another type of series springing up (outside of the AMA). For example, the Monster Cup race is an open displacement race and is already generating excitement. I don't know if this will spawn other races, but the excitement is there. Also the petition is steadily rising, which shows an increase in interest and commitment to see a 2-stroke allowed to race equally.

I think it will happen.

I love my honda but i will never buy another coz i doubt they will ever build another smoker, as long as i have the one ive got though i will never buy oem bits for it, theres plenty of aftermarket bits to choose from.
Aand if i ever buy new it WONT BE JAPNESE!
