bringing out the 2 stroke
« on: August 10, 2011, 06:07:40 AM »
well guys, in an attempt to lower our DEBT and our monthly payments, we are selling our trucks and a couple bikes. this is forcing me to rebuild my 2005 yz125 which has been sitting blown up for about 4 years. this is a trophy bike for me, and i refused parting with it... boy have i got offers. Really glad i never parted with it, and never will. this bike ran PERFECT. I qualified for the US Open the first time they ever had the womens class there in vegas... 1 of 16 girls. Didn't do well as I had suffered a severe head and neck injury with brain trauma, which was almost career ending, and in many ways was :( a couple months prior.

Anyways, long story short, hope to be back on the tracks soon on my old 125.. we will see if i can ride it still lol.... we have snagged al ot of parts off of it over the years... everything from levers, to sprockets.

Ill let you guys know how the return goes ;)

Good Luck to you. COOL graphics. Unless your in your 40,s there no hurry,if you,re riding for the right reasons, your speed is still there. I,m not riding at all this year, no time, just work,1 day off work is spent lining up different work. Last year was a huge set back, money wise, I ,m at work 134 hrs a week and the money is crap, no choice but to look for a better job. I,m not worried about loosing my speed, it will be there. I,m hanging onto a couple cr,s, would sell one if I could, but just like you I,m keeping my favorite.

I'm sorry to hear of your injuries.  I hope you continue to heal, and continue to enjoy your chosen sport.  There's not enough women in our sport, and it's always good to see a gal that keeps up (in your case probably passing)with us guys.  Don't push it, when it's no longer fun, it's not worth doing.

Regards,
M.R.

It is great to have you back. My daughter Stephanie is raceing again, and really enjoying it. I wish more people would encourage their daughters and wives to ride/race. The women's class is ususally the one to watch at our track.
