Kind like a friend on mine son's issues...  He drank the Kool-Aid, and "had" to have a 450, as his YZ250 was not competitive (try twisting the throttle a little more)...  He traded the YZ250 and cash for a CRF450...  He thought he was king S$%t....  only to have valve issues....  they were shimmed too tight.  Now he's hesitant to ride it for fear of doing damage...  he now wants to ride his dads KX125...  sorry son you "had" to have the 450....  so either ride it, or get rid of it....  Sometimes kids (mine too) have to learn the hard way...  He's now is looking to unload the 4 stroke turd for a smoker...  imagine that...

Great photo

I'm glad he's looking for a 4-stroke, but why doesn't he just get the valves fixed? How hard can it be? I know, I know. Am I on the dark side? Help!

This pic is a great example of what happens when we educate our young.   Very cool to see.

Thanks for that, made my day.
If you're afraid to break it, it's not worth having.

The local practice track has been flooded lately with 2 strokes. It's amazing to ride with fellow 2 stroke believers. I swear this past Thursday was a 2 stroke only day.  :D
