Erzberg Rodeo

Hi boys and girls...  I saw this article/photo in our local paper last week and wanted to share it.  It is a shot of the famous Erzberg Rodeo (one of the starts at least).  I dont know who eventually won, and on what bike, but I looked at the photo hard and could not see any 4 bangers in the shot!  Enjoy!

Sweet,there is a lot of 2t's in that.My favorite was the one McGrath and Pastrana ran.Too funny if you can find the vid of them talking before and after.

This seems to be some of the Pastrana/McGrath Erzberg. Incredibly tough stuff! Trials riders rule.

More (from 2009 anyway). A sea of two stokes with a few fours here and there -- the way it should be:

Taddy Blazusiak won his 4th consecutive Erzberg rodeo in 2010 riding a ktm 250 EXC. He was also on KTM 2 strokes the previous 3 wins, although I thought he was on a 300 in 09.

I forget the 2009 results, but in 2010 there were over 500 riders at the start, and only 15 to cross the finish line. Pretty insane! I think 2009 is the year pastrana rode in it. He didn't make it very far, lol.

The clip I saw had Mcgrath and Pastrana ragging at each other before the start then describing the race afterwards.Apparently Pastrana crashed at one point and was completely hammered laying there when a local offered him what he thought was water.Pastrana said he almost died after taking a big pull of what turned out to be shine  :D

Taddy Blazusiak won the Erzberg again this year! It is his 5th consecutive win @ Erzberg! ;D

 I forgot to say Taddy won the 2011 Erzberg Rodeo on a KTM-250exc....2-strokes rule.. :P
