Ford,I'm beginning to get worried.I've owned a Ford Taurus (for a few weeks) and it was down there with the early Hyundai stuff. :o

The last Taurus' were a decent car. It's funny you mention the Hyundai though.I've long compared the Z3's to the first Hyundai pony's.Crappy brittle plastic in the interior.Broken hinges and compartments, crappy fit and finish,pw switches that push down in to the console when you try to use them, etc, etc. It would be one thing if they were a $10,000 car but for what they're priced at,the BMW execs should be given huge bonuses for convincing the mid life crisis types to buy them.
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

The Z3 & Boxster. :-[
I have told my mates to shoot me if I ever turn up in one of those.

I can picture you now Sachs, sitting behind the wheel of your German convertible sports car with your gatsby cap on,gold chains and bracelet, shirt unbuttoned to your beer gut and aviator shades hanging on your gin blossomed nose cruising to the local tims to impress the hot chicks.I think a mid life crisis is imminent  :D  ;)
