I'd go the cheaper route and just throw a YZ motor in a YZF chassis. :)

I'd go the cheaper route and buy a TM. ;D
Better motor, Better suspension.
And it gets updates each year. No BNG's

DITTO
although I am really digging the Fantic bikes
If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

A lot of money to make it look worse than before.

I think it looks 1000 times better...

Now if only Yamaha could make their bikes pump out numbers like the KTM 2 strokes then we'd have something. Oh, and drop the price of their bike.

The guys that created this kit are responsible for the article that has gotten the most traffic on the main TSM site;

Yes it may be high-priced, but it's not outrageous for what you get. A custom gas tank is big bucks to manufacture, plus the custom sub frame. This is all done by a small shop and has nothing to do with Yamaha motor company.

It's really funny but the biggest reason that many people didn't want to buy the new Yamaha 2 strokes was the fact that the plastics looked dated! To me that's the dumbest thing ever, but hey each to their own.

One thing is for sure, if you show up with your Yamaha two stroke with that kit, you will get a lot of attention.
Life is short.

Smile while you still have teeth!
