Huh, no hardhats required on this construction site? What would OSHA say?
Yamaha CT3, RT3, MX125, SC500, Toy Prius, Diesel F250 (it all balances out)

Crazy.  I wonder who paid for that though, seems like a lot of money wasted for nothing.

The stunt was obviously financed by Liebherr to promote their construction equipment. The engineers who developed that machine must be pretty confident about all their stress calculations to allow such a demonstration.

No matter what calculations the engineers came up with, that operator has balls of steel!

I would be more worried about the guy who crimped all the hydraulic hoses. Thats your weak link.

I had the same thought as TMKIWI. The hoses and the rams would want to be put together properly...

I used to run a trackhoe, all kinds of equipment, dozers, drill rigs, 28 cylinder train. I bet they turned the engine up, and the hydraulic pump up, there,s alot of tricks you can do with a trackhoe.  Say you need to get to a area, and there,s a 20 ft. deep pit, you just boom down get 1 track in the air, then track forward and boom down while swinging the boom to keep up with tracking. That way all you need is 3 feet of land and you can put the track hoe anywhere. There alot of fun to operate, but gets borring after a while.
