I almost went with the 300 kit for my KX, kind of regret not doing it now. That RM is clean and I bet its a blast to ride!

Hopefully more people will catch onto this idea.
If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

I would love to hear that 300 :D

I think it's a little funny -- big bore kits have been very popular with the Honda 250R quad crowd for at least a decade.  It seemed like a good portion of the enthusiasts were running 265, 300, 310, even 330 and 370 kits. Eddie Sanders being a big name in that genre.

I wonder why it's taken so long to hear about the MX crowd running them.

The rules.  250 2 stroke against the 450F.  Now amateur rules in most places are 250cc vs 250cc and open.

I share the same opinion as that guy, I like them both. I have alot more fun riding a 2 stroke but I suck on it now, when I go racing I usually ride a 450.

Now that my racing career is pretty much over Im not going to buy another new 4 stroke (and I sure as hell wont buy a used one), Ill build something like Charles's project YZ only a 250. Ive never ridden one of Erics 300's but man I want to now. $600 aint bad for all that work

Don't forget many bikes like KTM etc come as 300s now.
