Beginner class holeshot at Pala Raceway
« on: May 22, 2011, 07:39:10 PM »
Just wanted to share some video of me pulling my second holeshot at Pala Raceway back in September.  Pala held an amateur race the weekend prior to nationals and I signed up for the 30+ vet beginner class.  I know we are all beginners but it was nice non the less to pull the holeshot against a bunch of 450's.

I am riding a 2006 KX 250 2t with a PC pipe and shorty silencer running the #333.

Love the site...braappp..

Nice. ;D

Where did you finish ?

Thanks guys!!  I finished 3rd in moto 1 and pulled a big fat DNF for moto 2.

I pushed myself outside of my comfort zone in moto 2 trying to keep up with 2nd place. I came up short on the first table top in front of the grand stands and my KX decided to pound me into the dirt.  I broke my collar bone and had to have surgery.

I never did the table in practice and should not have attempted it during the race.  I lost my head out there and forgot that racing wasnt my job and that I still had to go to my real job after the weekend.

I just started to get back on the bike over the past two months and mainly just doing practice days.  The collar bone feels good and aside from having to get my stamina back up all is good.
