when I mentioned to my local dealer "hey I heard ktm took suzuki's spot in the big 4" He said huh they beat everyone in sales last year except honda. So apparently ktm was second in motorcycle sales in 2010 only to honda

MXA said the KTM two stroke sales were higher than some of the Japanese manufacturers overall motocross sales.

i think it's very significant that they put the 2 strokes on equal footing (frame-wise) with their 4 strokes. who knows, it may signal a shift in their corporate strategy.

i think they have just finally bowed to public pressure and put it on. for a bike that is designed for mx/sx it needed it anyway.

ktm are very good at giving the consumer what they want. for many years there has been the debate of linkage vs non linkage. now that reason is gone and there is no reason for anyone not to consider ktm

I haven't spent a lot on time on them and I don't race MX, but I may be one of the few who actually like the PDS.
