namura pistons

I live in AZ and nobody out here has ever heard of or carries namura pistons. Can someone point me to where I can get them? Its for an 04 RM 250.

DO NOT RUN THEM!!!!!!! I put one in my YZ 250 when I rebuilt it. I had 4 hours on the motor and the piston exploded. The piston ended up having a clearance problem determined by Namura, however they were not willing to help me out because they said it was my fault for not checking. I had two other namura pistons sitting here so I checked the clearance on them and they were both wrong so I threw them away. The guys we complete assholes and basically called me stupid and told me I didn't know what I was doing. Said they have never had a single issue with a single piston so i researched it and found that a ton of people from bikes to snowmobiles to ATV's have had the issues.

I have had good results with OEM Suzuki piston's.

I'm using one in my son's quad (yes its a four stroke) based on the advise of the gentleman who is boring the cylinder.  He has used them for years, but only after he rebores the cylinder.  For my KTM 300,  I ponied up and purchased OEM.

I have never had problems with Wiseco

I had a Namura and before I installed it I measured the clearance and it was off. So, I sent it back. Some have good luck with them, but def. worth measuring the clearance. I see them all over E-Bay. I actually got mine off of E-Bay for super cheap.

I sell alot of namura pistons but tell everyone they must be changed a little before recommended stock piston service limit. my cost on a wiseco kit from WPS is $136. That's a complete topend gasket kit, wristpin bearing, wristpin, clips, rings and piston. If you can beat that shipped to my door then we'll talk

I get mine for $120 with a 20 minute drive of course thats for a 125, i dont know how much a 250 would be

My view is that the genuine piston is the one to go for, why skimp on something that important? Ive never heard of oem pistons being the wrong clearance or exploding, and if you think about what the piston is doing, why not put in the one thats designed to be there from the factory? Fair enough skimp and buy cheap plastics etc, but for the piston its best to get genuine stuff.
