YZ 125 good for trail riding and sand dunes?

Is it good for trail riding and if I get a paddle tire for sand dunes will it be good?

125's are great for trail riding, you might want to go up a tooth or two on the rear sprocket. You will build great skills riding a 125 any wear. (a 250 is my first choice, But I'm old and fat).

As far as sand dunes, Even with a paddle you will be working a 125 pretty hard (hope you are not a fat ass like me)

I think you need to consider one of these, with a nice slick tire on the back for desert / dunes riding.




These are also great in tight single track.

If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

a 125 will be very hard to ride in the dunes, its a good work out for you and the bike a good wqay to blow up the top end.
