500 2Ts are the most difficult dirt bikes to ride and even more difficult to ride fast,that is what makes a 500 so satisfying once you master them.A 125 is either on pipe or not so they always behave the same whereas a 500 behaves differently with each incremental step in the throttle,that big 500cc 2T is loading the chassis differently at different r.p.m..If you haven't mastered throttle control a 500 will wear you out in 10 minutes but if you learn to work with them a 60 mile blast in the desert on a big 500 is something you won't soon forget.
