PINEWOOD DERBY

Today YAY it;s been 03 years since my last one, spent all week working on my boys car

If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

Are you talking the small cars you make for Scouts? I took first the only year I tried. Everybody laughed because my car wasn't all "pointy" and aerodynamice like theres, but there was a sharp bend where the track flattened out for the finish and the noses of their cars scraped and mine didn't  :D .

well we got 3rd for design in the Wolf class, 5th over all, won the 1st heat, got a couple of seconds, then the car started going slower, made it to the Wolf finals and got smeared. After the race when I got the car back found that one of the front wheels had broken right around the hub and body. I smell a rat.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.

Just do what Ferrari did when the inspectors came to make sure their Le Mans cars met specifications.  Show the inspectors the car, have it check out, take the inspector to lunch, and then have some of the boys in the shop "make-a the car up-a right."

They need to do an unlimited class pinewood derby.  If someone discovers the secret to friction-free perpetual motion, it's going to be some ghost-white kid with coke-bottle glasses and way too much free time.
