I just need a linkage arm, side panels, and possibly bars. But it really isn't in that bad of shape, idiot simply forgot to check something, and he ruined a part by not doing so.

Well the linkage bearings are a common problem area on KDX's.

I use BRP triple Guard marine water proof grease in all my linkages.
Out of all the greases I have tried over the years on boat systems it has better water proofing then anything else.
As long as your seals are good it will last very well in linkages.
If you don't fall off you are not going hard enough

Another good Canadian product-can't go wrong there :D

As for the price you paid for the bike and what's wrong with it,given that our dollar is about on par with yours,it never ceases to amaze me how much you guys get for so few bucks.Around here, what you paid would get the same thing-with a wasted engine or just an engine alone with nothing else.
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

thats whats funny about Canada, if I where to simply take a crap load of bikes up north I would make a killing. And whats even more funny, is that for the price I paid for it I should have got a decent trail bike that needed nothing except maybe an oil change, or a rear tire. I was debating over this bike or two different 03 kx125's in portland/eugene for $1000.

The one in portland is gone.

there are some decent deals in there, but some ridiculous prices. It looks like prices have dropped somewhat.

Prices drop here in the winter time when no ones buying but come spring they get jacked up.Many don't even bother to post their bikes in the winter time.
I assume it must be a supply/demand thing given many Americans have a much longer riding season and 10x the population the prices are lower-maybe

well, I wouldn't say that, there are plenty of people who don't get it.
1991 kx250 $1500
1982 yz250 $1200
1988 kdx 200 $800
1999 cr250 $2200
