how could they possibly be bad?? That's retarded.
If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

I agree. Every time on our local forum when someone buys one or asks about one, people always chime in about the weight at the hitch, blah blah blah. I know at least 4 people personally that use them and love them so if I had a vehicle I could use it on, I would have one.

Weight at the hitch??? :o
Shit man I'm screwed with this 18' enclosed trailer, if  260lbs on a trailer hitch it over weight. ::)

BTW: After your facebook post about wanting/needing a faster bike and then I saw this thread back at the top, I thought I was going to read here you sold the KDX  :) .

I would never sell this bike, it is one of the most reliable bikes I've ever owned.

Well, I am currently debating over getting a YZ250, or another KDX(if its still for sale) that is possibly in better shape than my bike currently. Thoughts?

well the 03 needs a stator(supposedly), and the 04 is hammered. Lame.

Well, I bought a tusk clutch and not 5 minutes into a ride I was having problem with it slipping while in gear. I went back home, took it apart, and the pos fibers are to skinny. So, I throw one of the old fibers in and it finally started working correctly? Next ride will tell if everything is fixed. Anyone have this problem before?

Don't think tusk makes clutches for Maicos.  That's all I own

I always grab my calipers and measure new plates because I heard of this happening. I never found a new one out of spec though. I would contact RMATV, their customer service is good. I buy a lot of stuff from them.
