I have the exact shootout in a 2009 MXA next to my throne at home  ;D

They picked the 250 two stroke over the 250f in almost every category
2000 YZ 125 under construction

Awesome article. They make some very valid and very true statements. Towards the end when they go into the Pro racing aspect is a great read and good to see MXA making noise about this subject. MXA is the real deal !!

This is a very good article, and I think it cuts to the root of the entire debate much more effectively than any other source I've read on the topic of what started the whole thing, and why.


Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.

Its great that MXA recognizes that there is other racing venues than Pro...
