one thing i noticed last night that jeff emig said kind of confused me. There was that quad in the rhythm section and he said that in practice some guys on the 250f were throwing it but not in the race, then he goes on to say that they could never have jumped that in the 250 2 stroke days. I started to think aren't these guys the same idiots that said it wouldnt be fair to race 250 vs 250 i mean wtf, so a 250f can make it but a 250 2 stroke cant hmmm I bet with the right rider my 150 could make it. Careful ppl dont step in the bullshit. Go get em Ced!!!!!!

Emig doesn't even know what he's saying! What a goof! Jimmy DeCotis could probably have done it on his 125. He's only saying that to spice up the show. These guys should be saying how that the 250 2-stroke would probably have an advantage over the 4-strokes because they are lighter and fly farther.

I agree Jeff has no idea what he's talking about . He only had 36 wins and 4 titles on 2 strokes during his 10 year pro career  ;)

I would like to see someone do that huge triple from the inside on a 250 2 stroke like the top guys were doing. It looked slick as crap, even Stewart cased the shit out of it once. I dont think all the race lines are going to suit Cedric, atleast at A1 they wouldnt have.

I hope Phoenix is tight, technical, and tacky....with a short start.

RC even backed Fro up on the comment.  I think they are talking out their ass sometimes just to break the silence.

You can't tell me RC wouldn't have tried it on the 2 stroke.

I dunno man that was a leap....it looked easy on tv but the little bikes werent even jumping it. I know them Pro Circuit bikes are rumored to be 47-48hp.

If anybody would have done it though it would have been Carmichael  :)

I think james stewart would easily be able to do it on a 250 smoker. Just look at this quad he tried to hit on a 125, and the crazy thing is that he usually makes this.

I wish Cedric the best of luck! but after looking at the a1 450 race list its going to be hard to make the main.

1. Ryan Villopoto
2. Ryan Dungey
3. James Stewart
4. Trey Canard
5. Chad Reed
6. Kevin Windham
7. Ivan Tedesco
8. Brett Metcalfe
9. Joshua Grant
10. Andrew Short
11. Kyle Chisholm
12. Nick Wey
13. Kyle Regal
14. Mike Alessi
15. Jason Thomas
16. Justin Brayton
17. Chris Blose
18. Matt Boni
19. Davi Millsaps
20. Tommy Hahn

Only Thomas, Blose, and Boni aren't top guys on that main but they are still fast as hell. :o

I think he will have a better chance of making it out of the heat race then the lcq. A1's lcq was Canard and Nick Wey, behind him was a noticably better Jeff Alessi....all fast guys.

Hopefully he gets good start in his heat

Damn, it is a stacked class . Worst year I've ever seen to try and qualify.

no doubt in my mind a 250 would make it. Dam that is such a stacked class, I honestly think its good cause if he does make it that even makes more of a statement and all the sheep out there can kill all our asses over here at tsm.com

"Bubba" Stewart Quad CASE!!! OWWWW!

He totally overshot the triple before the quad.. If you guys watched the last Supercross with Cedric he killed everyone in the whoops and corners but carried more speed and momentum between the jumps.. this is why he is a good 2 stroke rider..you can switch lines faster too..but the mistakes cost more against the 450 tractors..

I dunno about easy....I agree Stewart would have probably tryed it. It had to have been hard because only a few guys were jumping it in the first practice.

It is a very stacked class this year.
Cedric knows what he's getting in to, and is still very confident. :)
"Two Strokes are coming back" -Cedric

He knows what he can and can't do, and he is pure talent.
It would not surprise me at all to see him qualify. The boy can ride. :)
